My second class of Korean Culture was a Royal Cooking Class. In this
class we learned how to cook like they did back in the old days for the
King. We made bibimbap, which is vegetables and meat mixed with rice.
It's very tied into their culture because back in the day when korea was
poor, they couldn't waste any food. So their dinner would be bibimbap,
which is where they'd throw all their leftovers from breakfast and lunch
into a bowl with rice and eat it.
Our finished Bibimpap!
