School festivals are a big deal in Korea. Often students prepare months in advance. Our school's festival was one day of performances, then a day of festivities such as games and cafes.
I was asked by the teachers to help out with the surprise of the festival... the young teachers dancing! I was surprised but jumped at the opportunity because I knew the kids would love it.
We spent about a month being trained by two adorable dance prodigy students of ours. We stayed after school until around 9 or ten at night. It was incredibly exhausting, but fun at the same time.
Here's some pictures, as well as a recording of practice, and finally the main show:
Here's the practice video, I arrive around the 3 minute mark:
Finally, here's the performance on stage, again I arrive around 3min in:
The kids and teachers loved it! I got a lot of compliments afterwards!

November 11th is Peppero Day here in Korea. It's a holiday that was created by advertising companies. Peppero is stick candy covered in chocolate. (Thus why it's 11/11, since the date looks like sticks of peppero) Basically on that day, you give your sweetheart some peppero.
I had eaten most of my peppero before I thought to take a picture... but here's two from two of my favorite students! The one on the right is from an adorable boy who has a crush on me. Yet, I felt the need to correct his English, hahaha.
