After our successful school festival, our dance group, A1K4 (American 1, Korean 4) took our two cute little dance teachers out for dinner as a thank you.
I also was able to record this really cute video of them: (They are singing each number, 1-10, and the gestures are ways to be 'cute' using those numbers)

I've grown attached to a lot of my students, but one in particular, SY. SY is incredibly intelligent and can speak English very well. I had her last semester and we've bonded a lot since.
This past weekend I bought her dinner and went out for ice cream afterwards. We ran into some other students and we all talked together.
Below is a picture of us together.

I've written a post before about being able to meet Shin Dong Hyuk, who is the only person to have ever been born in a North Korean concentration camp and escaped.
He recently told his story on 60 minutes. If you don't have time to read his book, now's your chance to hear what he has to say.
It's a really good interview and a good summary of what is going on in North Korea right now.
Watch the video here. (13 minutes long)

This past month our church has had an event called "The ONE" which led up until Thanksgiving day. We had everyone to invite friends to our church, and afterwards we would welcome the guests with presents, games, and would just get to know them. It was a lot of fun and it was really great to be a part of it.
In the picture below I was asked ahead of time to give my testimony to the newcomers.
On Thanksgiving day we had a potluck lunch. It was a very interesting thanksgiving with foods from all around the world! We also had a Thanksgiving tree where everyone wrote what they were thankful for.
Here's me with my friends! In the picture above, there is me, Christine, Minjung and Grace.
